The Board of Secondary Education Assam, or SEBA, will declare class 10th results on June 6, said Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a press conference.
The results will be declared on the official website – resultsassam.nic.in from 9 am onwards. To check their results, candidates will require their login credentials such as roll number and registration number. The exams were held from February 10 to February 28 and more than 3 lakh students appeared for the exams this year.
Earlier, Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that digital marksheets will be given to students. The decision was taken keeping in view the importance of social-distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hard copies of the mark sheets will be distributed later once the situation gets normal.
The minister also announced that admission to the higher secondary institutes under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, or AHSEC will be done in online mode completely.
